Pea protein is truly an amazing ingredient, as it provides so many incredible benefits. The pea on its own is such a healthy vegetable! Our producer isolates the valuable protein from peas; pea protein is a non-dairy protein source, unlike whey, for instance. Pea protein is easily digestible and free from most allergens. And a single serving of Veggemo provides a full 6 grams of protein! Additionally, pea protein provides many of the essential amino acids that are important for good health. And, finally, it’s GMO free, nut free and soy free.
Tapioca comes from cassava, a root vegetable that’s a popular staple in the diets of people in many countries. You might have heard of tapioca pudding before – tapioca is a thickening agent that gives pudding (and Veggemo) a rich, creamy texture. It’s also a carbohydrate that’s gluten free.
You can never have too many vegetables! We’ve given this special task to our product developers, who are busy looking into new ways of blending more veggies into Veggemo while staying true to our unique and delightful flavor.

Nearly three-quarters of a Veggemo container is made from renewable resources; the paperboard we use comes from FSC-certified forests and/or controlled resources (FSC certification ensures that the harvest levels of trees can be permanently sustained). We keep our actual packaging to a minimum; 95–97% of Veggemo is the content, and only 3–5% is the packaging. And yes, the container is recyclable.
You’ll find us in the non-refrigerated milk aisle at these retailers. We’re just getting started and are doing our best to have Veggemo available at each and every grocery store in the USA. Veggemo’s ingredients have been carefully selected to be free of many common allergens, including lactose, gluten, soy and nuts. But while our ingredients themselves are soy and nut free, Veggemo is made in a facility that also produces almond and soy products. The production facility goes through an extensive “clean-in-place” process between each production run. This is carried out strictly within FDA guidelines to prevent cross contamination with almond and soy. Those with tree nut allergies should consult a doctor before trying Veggemo.
Excellent question! Many of the ingredients in Veggemo are organic, and Veggemo is 100% free of genetically modified organisms. We are looking into sourcing organic alternatives to the remaining ingredients, and will include them as long as they don’t compromise Veggemo’s flavor and texture.
Yes! A diet rich in foods from the earth may improve your chances of staying healthy and avoiding heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes. In addition to the naturally occurring nutrients from our vegetable ingredients, we have fortified Veggemo to provide the additional important nutrients that customers have asked for.
Yes, definitely, Veggemo is vegan. Rest assured that there are no animal products, by-products or derivatives in Veggemo.
No. Veggemo is not a replacement for infant formula or breast milk.
